Wicked the Musical

I’m going to keep this short because my brain still isn’t functioning properly based on the events of Day 3 so stay tuned for that.

We got up in the morning and got some mandatory coffee and food. We then walked uptown a little bit to do some shopping. I got Kendall some Sketchers that she is going to flip over! They have all the necessary ingredient for Kendall’s perfect pair of shoes – sequins, pink, and rainbow colors.

We got some paninnis at a nearby Deli and went back to the room to get ready for our next stop – tickets to Wicked. The show was fantastic and very funny. I have to admit – I was a little misty in the eyeballs at parts. After that we grabbed some lunch at Jack Dempsey’s which had Irish food and was really yummy, though I find that its hard to mess up french onion soup and shepard’s pie. We came back to Chelsea and took a little nap and then headed out to some bars.

This is where it all went awry. First stop was Trailer Park which was a really cool, kitschy place. From there we came back to the hotel bar to have some drinks with our trusty doorman/concierge/bellhop Pete. The place packed and the theme of the night was urban. There was some crazy partying for a Wednesday. After that we went back to Jake’s for more drinks. one martini, two martini – and then the end of the night…morning whatever!
